A cosmic egg

Yesterday, Freddy and I stumbled across a robin’s egg - the day after Easter!

And instantly, I was taken back to my former mother-in-law, an avid bird watcher, who used to tell my kids that robins were “Easter Bunny Birds.” The sweetest little memory.

Moments like this always make me pause. I tend to see meaning in the small things. Feathers, heart-shaped rocks, little signs that feel like they’re speaking directly to me.

Of course, after a gentle inspection, I left the egg right where it was but I couldn’t help but look up the meaning.
