Fresh, Fluffy & Living His Best Life

It’s funny how pets become like human children.

I never really understood that… until I became a dog mom.
Now? I totally get it.

I dropped Freddy off at the salon earlier today, and while he was getting his glow-up, I met up with Allison so we could shop for matching shirts for Freddy and Chief. They’re doing an egg hunt next weekend (yes… an actual egg hunt) and there will be a photo op with the Easter Bunny.

Tell me that’s not the cutest thing ever.

Allison has said before it’s almost like Freddy is human… and honestly, she’s not wrong. He’s the sweetest, best boy—and completely spoiled rotten.

I always like to bring him something when I pick him up, so today I surprised him with a tremenda disc (which I didn’t even know was a thing, but it looked like a dried steak and I just knew he’d love it) and a couple of toys.

And have you seen the toys that grunt?

He is OBSESSED.

He’s already had two pigs and has shaken the grunt right out of them. I’m really hoping this one lasts a little longer. Watching him go absolutely wild with it makes me laugh every single time.

So anyway… this is me and my dude after I picked him up lookin’ all fresh and fluffy.

Him… not me. 😅

Mom had a massage and a tan today.

Freddy’s current mood: Fresh cut. New toys. Living his best life. And loves his mom. ❤
